Our services include but are not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general home upkeep. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Liability: While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the quality and safety of our work, "Rent a Husband" will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that occur as a result of unforeseen circumstances, negligence on the part of the client, or failure to follow the advice and instructions provided by our professionals.

No Warranty on DIY Work: "Rent a Husband" is not responsible for any damages resulting from the client's attempts to modify or continue work on a project after our professionals have completed their services. We do not guarantee work on any DIY projects.

Service Limits: "Rent a Husband" operates within the legal and safety boundaries of local laws and building codes. Our team will refuse to perform any task deemed illegal, unsafe, or beyond our scope of expertise.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics

Acceptance of Terms: By hiring "Rent a Husband," you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein. These terms govern the use of our services, and they may be subject to change. We encourage you to review this document regularly.

Payment: Payment for services must be made upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit/debit card, and bank transfer. Invoices not paid within 14 days may be subject to late fees.

Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel or reschedule a service, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future service.

Estimates and Pricing: Estimates provided by "Rent a Husband" are based on initial consultations. Actual costs may vary depending on the scope of work. We will always notify the client of any price adjustments before proceeding.

Work Guarantee: We stand behind the quality of our work. If a defect is found due to our workmanship within 30 days of completion, we will return to address the issue at no additional cost. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or modifications made after the service.

Right to Refuse Service: "Rent a Husband" reserves the right to refuse service to any client if conditions are deemed unsafe or if the client is non-compliant with the terms outlined in this agreement.
What to Include in the T&C Document

Scope of Services: Clearly define the types of services provided (e.g., electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.), as well as any services that are excluded (e.g., major structural work, hazardous materials removal).

Client Responsibilities: Outline the expectations from the client, such as ensuring access to the worksite, clearing the area for the task, and notifying us of any special conditions that may affect the job (e.g., presence of pets, children, etc.).

Damage and Liability: Detail any policies regarding accidental damages to property, how those damages will be handled, and whether you carry insurance coverage to protect both the business and the client.

Permits and Approvals: State that it is the client’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permits or approvals for the work to be done. "Rent a Husband" will not be responsible for obtaining or managing permits unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

Termination of Agreement: Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. If the client terminates the agreement after work has commenced, they will be responsible for payment of any services rendered up to the point of termination.

Confidentiality: Personal information shared with "Rent a Husband" during the service process will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is provided. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the legal frameworks of that jurisdiction.
